Every vehicle is calibrated by Martin at Pendle HQ, verified with a data log and proven on the road. Tuned at HQ, it’s measured on our Maha dyno.
The Pendle method
Not a generic file, and not a percentage added to a few maps. Every vehicle is individually calibrated here at Pendle HQ – the engine and the complete vehicle.

The Pendle method
We start from the manufacturer’s own calibration and build on it. No hardware changes and no protection maps altered – every component stays inside its safety limits, and nothing is overstrained.
The Pendle method
Calibrated across every pedal position and the full rev range – not just for a figure at full throttle. The result is smooth, linear power: effortless around town, strong and progressive on the open road.
Smooth power lasts. With no spikes in delivery, the gearbox, dual mass flywheel, drive shafts and engine mountings are looked after for a long working life.
The data log report
Every vehicle we tune – at Pendle HQ or by an approved agent – now gets an in-depth data log report, before and after. Requested against actual boost, fuelling and rail pressure, across the whole rev range.
We don’t chase the limits – we calibrate to work precisely within them.
Turbo in control: boost within 0.05 bar of the request from 2,000 rpm. A real standard log, VW T5 2.0 TDI 102PS.
The Pendle method
Every file is calibrated in-house by Martin in WinOLS, then proven on our linked four-wheel-drive Maha MSR 500 in a sealed, air-controlled cell.

The man behind the method
Martin began building and tuning engines for Peugeot Talbot at sixteen – blueprinting, porting and developing engines by hand, long before engines were run by software. As the technology moved on, he took that mechanical understanding into ECU calibration. Thirty-eight years later, every Pendle calibration is built on his method: research, development, and proof on the dyno and on the road.
