Transporter - DPF Off

Pendle Performance are well known within the UK for the custom tuning we do on the VW Transporters, We would also like to let everyone know we can remove the DPF systems from the T5's. The DPF causes many problems on the T5's and removing the system and custom tuning the ecu to turn the dpf off makes these vans run much smoother and also hassle. People have had to spend fortunes on replacing turbos, dpf systems.

We need the vehicle for 1 complete day to carry out the dpf removal and custom ECU remap, Cost for this is £575

Dealer Diagnostics

Pendle-Performance has extended its tools range yet again so we can fully diagnose any problems on vehicles before carrying out a remap. It's important that the vehicle is running 100% before any remap is done as if there is a problem remapping the vehicle could damage the engine.

Common problems with diesel vehicles is the MAF Sensor (Air Flow Meter) this measures ho much air is coming into the engine and this gives a signal to the ECU (Engine Control Unit) 

We have Full Main Dealer BMW, Ford, Renault, Porsche & VAG (VW / Audi / Seat / Skoda) Diagnostics tools; we also have a Launch X431 & Bosch KTS650 unit.

CMD OBD/BDM

We have just added the excellent CMD Tool to our ever growing list of tools that keeps up once step ahead of all the other cowboys that and popping up everyday claiming to be able to remap any vehicle. It's scary how many people are popping up claiming to be the next best tuning company. We have been going years and will still be going when these here today gone tomorrow tuning companies are long gone.

Be careful what company you decide on using to upload software into the vehicles ECU that controls the engine as if this software isn't 100% correct the engine will not run as it should, first signs are excessive black smoke when accelerating (This is due to the tuners using cheap software to write the maps that is very limited in what it can do and misses majority of the important files within the ecu)

Majority of these companies are here today and then vanished tomorrow, this is because they have so many unhappy customers chasing them to sort out the cockups that they have done they simply close shop and vanish.

We are pleased to inform you that we are now working alongside www.Jasmine-motorsport.co.uk are will be offering different Stages of tune specializing on the Porsche range. As well as working with Jasmine we are also in development with a USA Tuning company www.Protomotive.com

Our project vehicle is a Porsche 996Turbo that we have running at 650+bhp at the moment but with many more mods to do.



EDC17 & MED17

Development is finally over and we are now able to offer remaps to the latest vehicles fitted with the new breed of ecu family's as fitted in the latest vehicles. EDC17 & MED17

Due to the complexity of the latest Engine Control Units and also cost of hardware we are offering the remap at a price of £425 for these vehicles.

Pendle-Performance is at the cutting edge with technology and has all the tools needed to remap the vehicles Engine Control Unit (ECU). Equipment we use CMD OBD/BDM, Byteshooter OBD/ToolBox, EVC BDM100, PowerGateR & Beeprog+ Software we use to write the custom ECU Files WinOLS.

Using the equipment and software we do keeps us one step ahead off all the other tuners and enables us to offer a service second to none. 

80% of the UK Tuners that seem to be popping up everyday are using cheap china cloned equipment like the KWP2000+ or the Galletto1250 and using a tuned file that came on a disc with the tools. We call these tuners Here Today Gone Tomorrow reason being is that they advertise like mad offering remaps for £100-£200 then when the heat gets to much with the poor customers phoning with vehicles running rough or not starting the tuners simply vanish and open up in another name. Pendle-Performance will still be here when these cowboys are long gone.

OBDII Remapping (Vehicles Diagnostics Socket)

Using the CMD, Byteshooter & PowerGateR enables Pendle-Performance to remap majority of the vehicles without having to remove the vehicles ECU. We simply connect into the vehicles diagnostics socket and communicate with the ECU. We can even remap the latest Bosch EDC17 which BMW are putting in the new Turbo-Diesel directly through the OBD Socket. Pendle-Performance are one of only a hand full of people that can do these.

Direct ECU Remap

Direct ECU Remapping involves removing the ECU from the vehicle and connecting out OBD Remapping tool directly into the ECU to be able to read the original data from the ECU. Using this method recovers a locked ECU. We get many customers now that bring a locked ECU for repair that has been locked by cheap cowboy tuners.

Eprom Chip

Eprom Chip replacement is for older cars that do not have a flashable eprom in the Engine Control Unit. It involves removing the ECU from the Vehicle, opening up the ECU and de-soldering the Eprom with our Top of the range Rework Station. Once removed we read the standard data from the eprom saving this data to out computer system, we tune this data and write the tuned data into a new eprom. Finally we install the new Eprom into the ECU.
